country, receiving budget support from the government. In 2012, the National Blood Centre expanded its mission to provide comprehensive blood services, including blood donation, laboratory screening, blood component separation, storage, and distribution. However, due to limited space in the Regional Blood Centres, plans were made to acquire land and construct new facilities under the &#8220;Construction Project of the Regional Blood Centres to Honor the 80th Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand.&#8221; On September 26, 2012, Her Majesty graciously approved the naming of six new buildings as &#8220;80th Birthday Commemorative Buildings for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit&#8221; and officially opened all six new Regional Blood Centres as follows:<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div>September 19, 2016: Regional Blood Centre 12, Songkhla<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>November 2, 2016: Regional Blood Centre 9, Phitsanulok\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>October 9, 2018: Regional Blood Centre 3, Chonburi\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>December 2, 2019: Regional Blood Centre 6, Khon Kaen\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>November 10, 2020: Regional Blood Centre 5, Nakhon Ratchasima\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>February 7, 2022: Regional Blood Centre 8, Nakhon Sawan\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>In 2019, in celebration of Her Royal Highness\u2019s royal designation during the royal coronation ceremony, the National Blood Centre initiated the construction of five more Regional Blood Centres as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional Blood Centre 2, Lopburi<\/li>\n<li>Regional Blood Centre 4, Ratchaburi<\/li>\n<li>Regional Blood Centre 7, Ubon Ratchathani<\/li>\n<li>Regional Blood Centre 10, Chiang Mai<\/li>\n<li>Regional Blood Centre 11, Nakhon Si Thammarat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>These five new service buildings were also graciously named &#8220;Buildings in Honor of Her Royal Highness&#8221;
